「わたしがみつけた『わせだ』のまち」をテーマに、子どもたちの作品を募集しました。
審査委員長は画家で日本芸術院会員・早稲田大学栄誉フェローの藪野健先生。
優秀作品は町中の店舗の店頭に展示させていただきました。
さらに、優秀者は新宿区長室を表敬訪問、 吉住健一新宿区長・酒井敏男教育長・佐原たけし新宿区議会議長と懇談会を開催いたしました。
子どもたちから発信する、地域の魅力の表現。
子どもたちが街の風景やスポットに関心を持ち、生活する人たちの姿を通して、街への誇りをもち、理解を深めてもらうこと。
子どもたちが街に出かけることで、地域住民や商店主とふれあい、お互いの顔がわかることにより、希薄化している地域社会のつながりを強化して、犯罪の防止、安心して暮らせるまちづくりの推進。
子どもたちが応募した絵画を表彰し、街に展示することにより、子どもたちの自信と才能を伸ばす機会の創出。
それが商店会の願いです。

We recruited children's work on the theme of "Waseda's Wonderful City I found". Representation of the charm of the region, which is sent from children. To have children take pride in the city and deepen their understanding through the appearance of people living with their interest in the scenery and spots of the city. By having children go out to the city, by interacting with local residents and shopkeepers, by understanding each other's face, promoting community development that can prevent crime and live with confidence by strengthening the connection of the diluting community. Creating opportunities to extend the confidence and talent of children by honoring paintings submitted by children and exhibiting them in town.
